anybody else looking forward to the broadcast tonight? Ditka can be brutal in the booth sometimes, he really belongs in the studio, but hes still Da Coach. Im looking forward to that booth tonight.

I doubt Ditka will be impressed by any of the QB play that he saw after seeing Chris Leak in the last preseason game.

I wonder if Greenberg will be going with his grunge look toinght or if he'll be in a suit and tie.

As long as Greenberg/Golic don't start having one of their gay conversations, it will be fine. Maybe Ditka is their to keep them straight.

They were pre-recorded; I heard the same segment at 7:15. It sounds like they recorded it last night.

I hope they do this like real broadcasters, and not a morning show remote. I'm a 49ers fan, and I don't want these 3 trying to take away from the game to do their schtick.

Their division will be tough this year (although it looked better for the 49ers after Carolina had their way with St. Louis), but they have as good a shot as anyone. You can never count Seattle out, but SF beat them twice last year. I still don't think Arizona is ready yet, considering they haven't made any personnel changes on the O line. The 49ers should be a playoff team this year though.

well now with orlando pace out, that st. louis offense is going to have a few drawbacks.

i actually like SF this year...they have a good, young squad, and I like how Alex Smith has started to come along.

They're not the hated 49ers of old for me...they are the passed.

Ditka is gonna be on Chicago time still. He is an old man now. He'll be falling asleep by halftime.

He had to get up early yesterday in Bristol. Now he's doing a west coast game tonight. Jeez, he'll be tired and grumpy.

That might not be a bad thing, he can be pretty bad in a booth sometimes.

So far, they've been fine.

Only negative is Dikta saying 'look at this' before the replay is shown, he's a bit too fast so far.

Agree completely. Greeny's sports knowledge maybe questionable, but he is very good at broadcasting.

I thought they were better than any team that's been on MNF in the last 5 years or so. Not great but an interesting listen at least.

I wish they'd rotate the booth or something. I get tired of the same team everyweek especially since most of them have sucked.

Agreed. I thought Mike G. was not particularly strong. His voice is weak.

Was the audio fucked up? It sounded like they broadcasting out of a tin can.

I really like Jaws and Tirico is decent. I like Tony on PTI but he's not great for MNF. Last night, he kept spouting off useless info and then saying "I bet you didn't think I knew that". Basically, it says to me "I do prepare for my job when I feel like it!"
