Anyone ever read Mike's book?

I love his chapter on putting up posters of great female athletes not pop princesses or starlets in his daughter's room because of the anorexia thing.

Actually I did read his book and thought it was good, but I read 2 books by Rick O'Reiley and I am reading a book about Bear Bryant, all of which are better than Greenie's book.

So, it looks like we do need a book section...

I loved it. I laughed out loud several times. I actually enjoy his show a lot more after reading it.

I read it. It was okay. My wife liked it more than me, if that tells you anything.

I've only read one book. I never even finished coloring it either.

Read the first few chapters of it. Hard to get into... maybe it gets better further into it?

It entertained me from tiime to time. I really didn't get why I was reading it. It was ok. Maybe 6 out of 10. It had its moments, but for the most part it's kind of forgettable.

Best line of the book was when he compared arguments with his wife to a chess match between Gary Kasparov (or was it Bobby fischer) & Jessica Simpson

Very good book. I thought it was very funny, and I saw alot of things in there that reminded me of my life.

Did your wife read it? What did she think? j/k :D

I gave it to my dad and husband for Father's Day when it came out (my husband got additional gifts). My husband still hasn't read it. My mom & dad were put off by his drinking and superficialness.

I read it and loved it. I loved that it was parts of his journal, and that he journaled because his psychologist suggested he do it. I also have depression and anxiety and have extensively journaled over the years, and I totally identify with his insecurities. But, as most of you know, I'm a girl. :P

I feel no shame being in the Greenie ALS. :D

I think I'd rather read Moby Dick.

I can't take more than a few minutes of this crapfest before I get ill so reading his book would be out of the question...

If you want to read something good try "The Wishbones" by Tom Perrotta. I picked it up for a flight to Seattle...major thumbs up!

I read the book. I was a little uninspired. The self-putdowns got a little tiring after a while. I'm sure he's not as completely wimpy as the picture he paints.

I've read it. At work. Not a "ignore the wife and kids" type of read, but more of a "sit in the shitter at work for an extra 15 minutes" read.
I was floored that he used several cuss words in the text. I thought for sure Mickey Mouse was behind me with a bar of soap.

Son of a bitch I was about to start a thread called "Anybody Read Greenbergs Book?" but then I saw this. Instant gratification.

Anyone see ParkRidgeSteph lately? I mean, I know we gave her shit a lot back in the days, but seeing the other poster in this thread, I guess it makes me feel bad that we gave her so much shit.
