If anyone had the misfortune of hearing the Ernie Banks interview this morning, could you please answer the following question for me. What is the difference between Ernie and Ronnie Woo Woo? Has anyone ever seen them at the same place at the same time? HMMM. I couldn't believe the fluff, rah rah answers that he provided Golic when asked legitimate, probing questions about the state of the Cub. I'm thinking of pitching the movie script Weekend at Ernies, with Ernie playing the part of the already dead guy being dragged around Wrigley. |

I wasn't a fan of the answers, but you have to expect that from him - he's a 'Community Representative,' which is just a shortened title from 'Former Member of the Team Willing to Sell His Soul to Represent Said Team.' Some are better than others - on the other side of town, Minnie Minoso is very good, while Moose Skowron (while entertaining, and I love Moose) isn't exactly objective on the Sox either. It happens. |
