I open up today's sports page of our local rag and the 1st thing I notice is that the Cubs, for the 1st time I can ever remember, have taken an ad out pimping their 13 game ticket pack.

Are things really that bad that you have to take ads out in a paper 3 hours downstate? This whole Ricketts thing is really turning out nicely.

Maybe they could set up a bison dog stand down here.

This idea the Cubs have never advertised before B&B are promoting??!?!?!?

They have always had commercials and such. In fact I've said often they should have the people who write the commercials run the team because they have always been really good while the people who run the team suck.
