When he was sent to therapy for anger issues he was diagnosed with a unhealthy issue by a clinical shrink back in 2010.

Thus declaring an unhealthy situation exists. They didnt give a shit if he got help in NY or not, because if he did it was not for more than 1 day!

08:$15M, 09:$17.75M, 10:$17.875M, 11:$17.875M, 12:$18M, 13:$19.25M vesting player option
full no-trade clause
award bonus: $75,000 for All Star selection
Zambrano receives 2013 player option if 1) he is first or second in 2011 Cy Young vote or if he finishes in top 4 in 2012 Cy Young vote and 2) he is healthy at end of 2012

Actually he was diagnosed and has been undergoing treatment. He was diagnosed in New York and referred back to care in Chicago.

Treatment for mental illness is not like a broken leg. There's usually a lot of trial and error involved.

I have a very good friend with the same issue. He had to go through 3 different ideas and plans before he found one that really worked.

Here is what happened with Z that night:

He obviously didn't have it, giving up 5 HR's in half of a game. He is getting shelled, getting frustrated, getting pissed. It happens several innings on a row. Yet, each inning, he looks in the bullpen and sees................nobody. Quade is leaving his ass out there to get beat up. So he throws repeatedly at the Braves in order to give Quade a big FU and get his ass out of the game. Which is why he walked off so damn fast after getting tossed. He wanted out of the game and Quade wouldn't let him go.

Let me confirm that you have ZERO idea of what you are talking about regarding Z being diagnosed, him in NY or his ongoing treatment.

I don't doubt you know someone with mental issues, or how many plans they had to go through.

Wether she knows a person or what is going on with Z she is correct in that it often takes several different tries to really effectively treat a person with a mental illness. That only happens if the person excepts they have an issue and are willing to work hard at addressing the issue. The problem with many people, especially pro athletes, is that they see it as a weakness to admit they have an issue. Baseball players are not usually the brightest stars in the sky either.

You got something there I have noticed with Quade> He can not handle the pitchers well at all.He leaves struggling starters in far too long then he goes through the bullpen like he has 20 guys in there.
What scares me most right now is the team is playing well enough to save Kenny,Hendry and Quades' jobs. I think Quade is not that bad a manager just the wrong guy at the wrong time.He was given a supersize shit sandwich to manage by Hendry and as Hendrys' guy could not let on how pissed off he is.

The guy is a spoiled baby. He lives the life of a king within his inner circle of people. This includes his management people, who are like a poor mans Entourage. Nobody says NO to the guy and this included the Cubs for the last 9 years. This is the same shit as Sammy. He did whatever he wanted. Then when they sucked, it became a problem.

Big Z did a signing at Cubworld last week. A friend of mine went over there with his kid. Big Z sat at a table and his brother allowed one person to come within 10 feet of him at a time. Z wore a Cubs hat, pulled down over his eyes and never looked at a person or looked up the whole event. Unlike a CGS claim, I actually have the video of this. Really weird watching a kid try and talk to him and he says nothing back.

There is a shyness factor that exists, but the point is that nobody ever said let's try and fix this. Anything he does is acceptable. Until now.

They knew this was coming 2 years when Ari Kaplan pointed it out to Hendry.

And if you dont know who Ari Kaplan is as a Cubs fan, you should.
