Battle #1! Crane v Theo

Who stays in the office, who goes to the trailer. Theo was actually happy to go to the office trailer as he wants to be with his team and needed more room. Then Tommy boy stepped in, he wants his all star in the offices with him. So then Crane and Co. moving outside was on the table when my guy left for the day.

I'd love to know what Crane Kenney has done that makes him such a necessary piece of this organization.

I think Ricketts is one of those people who doesn't have it in him to fire employees. It took forever to remove Hendry and when he did, it was the softest firing of an inept manager I have seen. Pinella didn't get fired. Quade took the job as an interim and he hasn't been fired.

I think Ricketts wants Epstein to be his heavy, as much as anything.

Why do they have to have main offices at Wrigley? Especially in the off-season, why can't they get some primo office space in the Loop, with some great views?

They only really need to be at Wrigley when games are on. Just some temporary office space at Wrigley when the team is in town.

They have enough space, it's just all over the place. Also own the warehouse across the street from Yakzees, where they have bike drops and water storage. Also the 2 story parking garage on Eddy at Racine.

There is more than enough space, it's just who is going to be it in the main building. lol. Kinda funny

This is great. You'd think the Cubs would have enough space to find a spot for both of them, even if they're not right next to each other.

I don't understand all this Crane Kenney hatred. It's because he had the priest bless the dugout? Is everybodies opinion based on that? Maybe the guy is sharp,who knows?

I got stories Jimmy! and while everyone might have just a little truth, ad them up and you got a bad guy anyway you cut it.

However, Ricketts is convinced he needs this guy to do his expansion, so he stays.

I liked some of the things I heard yesterday about how Theo is indirectly putting him in his place by dropping him below the minor league staff on the web site and having him stand with all the other employees during the presser instead of up front with the important people.

I promise you a good portion of the public dislike is that ultra WASPish name. It just begs to have its lunch money stolen.

I know next to nothing that he has done. However, that is kind of a damning statement for someone so high up the heirarchy for so many years.

Good Dolphin is correct IMO, but his actions have been really slimey, not very blue blood like at all.
