Jesse Rogers reports that the Rays have picked up DeJesus off the waiver wire.

It was a revocable-waivers claim, so the Nationals can either pull DeJesus back, let him go to the Rays for nothing or attempt to work out a trade. DeJesus is batting .248/.328/.399 with six home runs and 27 RBI in 86 games this season between Chicago and Washington. The 33-year-old outfielder is owed around $2.5 million
