Embrace the money!

1. Birthdays! I say they have 5 costumes by 2015 and this guy is booked months in advance
2. CLARK dolls sell 100,000 a year
3. Private Parties in clarks cave! Non game day!
4. Clark hats! Yes, Backward hats for kids!
5. DOG TAGS! city of chicago law (Not sure how it applies to Bears)

And trust me, Clark will be in my rant of the decade if this shit doesnt work. Meanwhile, put the ads up, block the rooftop view, redo the whole damn place, give me a new TV contract, build a hotel, anything that makes $$$, do it. Dont want to hear any excuses going forward as to why they cant win when "The Plan" is in action.

Wolves fandom is the strangest breed of sports allegiance in this city.

Why again is revenue a key to the rebuild when a core component of the rebuild is to replenish from within? Another core component is to not pay for past success, which would presumably not require huge contracts except in unique circumstances. Finally, the team was profitable in the low 100 million payroll range which is certainly within the baseline for fielding a competitive team.

You been hoodwinked, bamboozled,

You're spending too much time worrying about this. Even for a Cub fan like yourself, this is excessive

I agree 100%. It made sense when the Hawks were eyeballs-deep in the shit, but it amazes me that there are still dead-enders in Chicagoland who don't fancy themselves Hawks fans but are fans of the developmental affiliate of the St. Louis Blues. It's a fun night for the family, but you can't actually care about the fortunes of the team.

They created the team during the NHL strike, huge boost.

They spend money on the best players they can get for the team and they win.

If you really like your hockey and dont have $250 a night to drop for a game, you live in the NW Burbs. They make sure you have a good time for little money.

Plus, they do go all out to bring in kids. Fuzzy little costume people.

I am in 100% agreement with going to Wolves games. It's a good time and the kids think they are at the equivalent of the Blackhawks.

It's Wolves fandom that is odd. There are people that really care about the outcome and follow the team. It kind of reminds me of Charleston Chiefs fandom.

Right. I mean, I care about the Rockford IceHogs to the extent that I want players to come up and contribute to the Blackhawks, but I couldn't tell you what their record is, what their lines are, or any of that. I have no interest in enriching the Blues' prospects and bringing any further joy to the chain-smoking dirtballs of inner-ring St. Louis County.

despite them being in the armpit of IL, Rockford Ice Hogs games are about as much fun as you can legally have.
