There are some way worse pitchers in the game than him. I would take him back at the minimum.

While I will agree he might have more talent than some, he became so stubborn that he thought his fastball was still lethal at 97 when he couldnt throw back to 90's at the end and the Phillies said Goodbye.

Awfully hard to get throw to a hotheaded guy who made $100+ mill doing it his way.

He could probably learn to throw some great junk and be back in the bigs.

However, not even sure he wants to be here.

Has there ever been a more talented starting five on both teams than Zambrano, Prior, Wood, Maddux, and Clement in 2004? Except for Maddux, all were at the right ages for statistical dominance, but it just didn't happen. The hype was justified - that was a stellar stable of starting pitchers.

Well Clemente was an outfielder and played for the Pirates. But sure.
