"I let them know we lost two teammates, two friends," Renteria said before the game. "And the reality is there are things we can’t control, and the things they can control are continuing to play the game and go out there and continue to grind it out and continue to do what they’re doing.

"Those two guys set examples as to how they grind out their games. Let's not basically do them a favor, but let's show them what they’ve taught us we can continue to do, and hopefully that’s what can happen."

Oakland isnt going to sign Shark for big money.

You could see him come back here one day.

I doubt that will happen. Hammel maybe. Shark wanted the world and got the coast. Hope the As do it though. They had the balls to go for it.

Of course Renteria challenged that play. The fucker challenged the final out in a 13-4 game the other day. He's challenge crazy.

They will have a real manager when they are ready to compete for real. Maybe Joe Maddon or Ryno.

I'm not 100% sure but I think Renteria was long gone in that 13-4 game, wasn't he?

He challenged an infield hit for Junior Lake. He lost. I know Lake can use all the hits he can get but Ricky has to stop begging.
