The Diamondbacks didn't even give him the opportunity to strike out 100 times before saying farewell.

I will be holding a candlelight vigil near the fountain in downtown Arlington Heights on Saturday evening. We will begin at sundown.

At 9:30 pm we will head to Salsa 17 for some badass arrachera borracha con mole.

Angel Pagan was once a Rule 5 pick. That has worked out well for the Giants, eh?

I think?

Don't forget about Josh Hamilton. Imagine if the Cubs held onto him?

Worked out pretty well for Roberto Clemente... until the plane went down.

Brett had his chances here. If he gets better, good for him.

He only had one shot.

But Eminem warned him what could happen!

Having one call up over the past 3 years on this Cub team is the best chance any fringe MLB could have asked for. The chance to make it and stick was offered here like no other. Coughlin was the guy who surfaced out of all of it.

Playing in AAA was just as good of a chance here as anywhere else.

What does the New York Giants head coach have to do with any of this?
