I just checked the box score. Hendricks with 11 hits allowed in 5 innings???? WTF ?????

And so Hawg rips on me some more, they were all hard hit. Hendricks was getting rocked.

He should have, or could have, gotten out of that first inning with just 1 run scored. castro fucked the game in the first.

Yeah...no... Castro 'allowed' 1 run. Hendricks gave up seven of them.

Cubs lose 6-2 - does that sound any better?

The guy's a beast up there.

Barring major injury, he's going to go down as one of the all time Cub greats.

He started the inning with a double. His prerogative to end it. :)

Big knock for Castro right there. I know we were all expecting a dp grounder to short.

And Starlin caps it off with a nice defensive play to seal the victory. Nice bounce back for the Cub and Castro. Not to be lost is a nice bounce back performance from Lester as well. Let's keep this going and take the series tomorrow as we bid farewell to Schwarber for the time being.

With that body type, Schwarber is a shoo in for an invite to Lakemoor fest this year.

Nice to see Arrietta go the distance and give the bullpen a rest. Tough series for Bryant, but Rizzo got back in the groove and Schwarber showed why the club is so high on him as a hitter. With the Dodgers and Cardinals coming up this week and Kershaw facing Wada Monday night to begin it all it's going to be challenging. Then again, they have played better often times against better competition. Castro has been coming through in key at bats of late. Here's hoping that continues.

So Rizzo to LF and Shwarby at 1st is a no-go?

They (not WE) NEED HITTING!

Nice win today. Didn't really want to see Arietta come out in the ninth. The Twin cooperated by acting like they had a plane to catch. Nice to give an overworked bullpen a rest, I suppose.

Christ, it's nice to watch a team that's semi competitive on a daily basis instead of the shitshow the last few seasons.

They usually are a fun watch this season. Should only get better in future years. The fun is just beginning.
