If I'm not mistaken, I think the Cubs and Sox use the same guy. I guess $50 an hour plus probably a free meal and great seat is worth it.

Yup. You can't look anywhere without seeing Luc Longley and Ron Harper in advertisements in Chicago.

This is a bit.

The 90s Bulls elevated the whole sport of basketball to heights never seen prior to it or seen after it but for some reason being on the Cubs 2016 championship roster means you'll be pulling endorsements in 2045?

Hi, this is Jake Arrieta. Whenever we come off a road trip I can't wait to eat at Beefbelly! You just can't get a good beef sandwich anyplace but Chicago and Beefbelly has the best. And they don't mind if you come in wearing your pajamas.

As far as Cubs endorsements or freebies... If Arrieta keeps this up and the Cubs do win a WS the Wood will have to start paying for his meals.

Id be willing to bet Ernie Banks, Billy Williams, Ryno, Dawson aren't paying for too many meals here.

He would if he had not corked his bat, taken steroids, had his boombox smashed by K.Wood, remembered how to speak english in court, didn't turn ash color, not beaten his wife.

Has anyone ever seen an athlete eat for free anywhere? Is it other people or is it the restaurant?

Do you think Scott Podsednik has walked into a restaurant and they've been like "Pods, you won in 2005, your money is no good here"? I'd probably buy an athlete a beer but I wouldn't care if they won a title.

Probably no one outside of Paulie or Ozzie has the cachet off that team to warrant the freebies. Coop may threaten his way into a freebie but that's about it.
