no, i think they will have a winning record. barring a rash of unforeseen injuries, i think this team has enough to win 81 games. i will always pull for the cubs to win no matter what, but i am telling you that this year i truly think the best thing that could happen for the future of this team is for them to struggle the first half with solid performances from lee, zambrano, ramirez, and anyone else who could possibly be dealt to a team who truly is a contender for quality prospects and very young MLB talent.

i didnt think they were going to suck as bad as they did last year, i still had hope, but this is the first year in quite a while where i truly feel that this team is absolutely set up to fail, and they have the same deficiencies that they did a couple years ago.

Not that the Cubs are contenders, but they are automatically better since they dumped Bradley. That fucker was a cancer on that team. It will be difficult for the Cubs too not win at least 80 games in the crap-ass division that is the NL Central.
