Castro on ESPN post game - 'you trade me? You trade me? fuck you, nobody trade me!' Then a big Middle Finger to Theo.

I'm sure it'll be on youtube soon for those who missed it.

The question for the Cubs now is, is the 87-88 wins they're going to get enough to win the division?

Nope, they fly Southwest. So they have to wait until the 6am to Denver.

no shit? lol so some single mom with her 5 kids can get lucky and meet the cubs on the SW flight?

If the single mom isn't careful, Addison Russell will impregnate her.

I watched the entire thing.

Sad effort by most of the Cubs.

The Yanks had two players go 0-for-7 and two more go 0-for-8. One of those 0-for-8s was Castro, who even with that is still hitting .355.

They will still win 90 or more. Just a tough series against a hot team. Could have won 2 of the 3 in the series. Just not a big deal. They will win their division and have a hot streak where they win 15 of 20. Not a bit worried.

They have won 7 of their 10 series so far. Some people are either prone to panic or (like yourself) want to believe the worst. The cubs are going to have another fine season, win their division and 90 or more games.

Alas, they don't play every series against Milwaukee, Cincinnati, and the Phillies. The American League is showing you what they really are.

No, the Yankees and Red Sox are showing they are pretty good and should be considered contenders . Just 1 series against a couple of hot teams. The Cubs had a great record in interleague play last season and I doubt it will be all that different this season. Playing the A.L. East rather than the West (as was the case last year) is a bigger factor.

Still 2 RBI with the 0-8.

For the series, 5 for 16 with a 2B, HR, BB and 5 RBI. .313/.353/.563

Not a bad return trip.
