We can both wait until the next dumb Maddon t-shirt.

Maybe Maddon can get you a shirt that buttons up easily.

If anyone ever creates a CSFMB t shirt line, I want one designed to look like it is an oxford shirt unbuttoned to the navel.

Theo whines about unfair fan criticism of minor leagues and right on cue Bernstein gets on the air to protect and then Rozner spends half an hour talking with Mc Leod about players in A ball. The two Theo lickspittles of the Score.

Justin Steele to have TJ surgery. One of the Cubs better pitching prospects (if you could say they have any).

Was he the one in Double A that was having a decent year? I can't remember. I think Sands had surgery in off season but he hasn't done much.

Never mind, that was Clifton. Steele was the one that was stating to figure it out this year. That's too bad. And Ick, Clifton has fallen on hard times.

Adbert Alzolay is by far their top pitching prospect. He's in AA now, could push for a spot next year sometime

Many Cubs pundits had Oscar De La Cruz ranked about Cease but sadly he's been hurt this year

Don't forget about Jen-Ho Tseng who is just obliarationg people in AAA. He gets overlooked because he lacks the blazing fastball, but so did Kyle Hendricks and Greg Maddux

Since all the position players are young enough and under team control for several years to come, there is no need to get help from the minor leagues in the next year or two. In that time, I'm pretty sure they will have drafted and developed guys that will push for a spot on the major league roster. Plus, with all the new revenue streams they have or will have in the next couple years and the fact that the reconstruction of the ballpark and the expenses involved therein will cease, they will have plenty of money for a top free agent, if a need should arise that they could not address with talent from the minor leagues.

If Caratini doesn't work out alongside Contreras, Davis is good defensively and seems like he would fit in the Cubs clubhouse.
