Well last year we had the three best teams in baseball in the same division, and the Cubs bested the other two in the playoffs! You can only play who they put on the schedule.

Good dolphin is insane. Everybody would take Bryant over Rodon going forward. Rodon was hot garbage this year.

I'd have traded Schwarber for Miller, Rodon is a good young starter that's only getting better.

Schwarber isn't Bryant and I'm not one post, I like Rodon..he's going to be very good.. Bryant is a ROY,MVP and WS champ in year #2.

I never said I don't like Rodon, I agree that there is a good chance he's a power starter for a bunch of years. He halved his walk rate this year and maintained his K's. That's the development you want in a young pitcher.

But when compared to where Bryant is, it isn't even close. Also GD seems to think that Bryant is maxed out. He also improves also going forward. He added 80 points of OPS+ from his rookie season to his second season.

As it stands now, Rodon could win the Cy Young the next two seasons and Bryant could take the next two years off and Bryant still probably has a higher career WAR in comparison.

It's funny both Seacrest and Frank offered bets in that thread and no Cubs fan took them and they were actually decent bets and yet somehow bigfan's incredibly stupid offer that he had open for 16 hours is some sort of great victory.
