D.J. should not have been dealt, but he probably was thrilled to go somewhere that he got the chance to play every day and Wade Davis had a great year and then took the biggest contract he was offered. He wasn't disrespected in any way. They offered him a deal. But Colorado blew everyone else out of the water with their offer. I doubt either feels any animosity towards their old ballclub.

My hope is by the late innings, the Cubs are leading by at least 3-4 runs and Davis isn't significant in this game.

my hope is they can score more than 1 run and that more than 1 run is enough.

DJ drove in one of the runs, and Davis pitched 1-2/3 innings of gutsy relief.

I called it and you cant do shit about it.
