ZZ post game wonderful comedy. Thing is, all the score guys are bullshitters, but ZZ is on a level all alone.

It is kind of remarkable how naturally it comes to him. You could have thought maybe he is just such a big Bears fan that it left him unable to be critical. Then he shifts just as easily into it as a member of the Cubs team.

He also brought out the "40 games in 41 days" defense that is usually only reserved for Jesse Rogers this far removed from the event.

If he is aiming the ball, rather than throwing it, it gets to be a real problem. Having walked a batter and hit another, I would say he has more work to do. It's between his ears. His stuff is fine. Very good actually. But when you are regularly behind in the count, you take a little bit off a pitch to just get it in there, maybe miss the target, but rather than being out of the zone, you are thigh high over the heart of the plate and the fans in the bleachers are yelling "INCOMING" and the next thing you know, you are down 2-3 runs.

If his shoulder is back to normal (or better) it's going to be a lot more fun again watching the offense. Bryant, Contreras and Schwarber (as well as Addison Russell if they hold onto him) can all dramatically improve their production in 2019. Probably reasonable to expect at least 2-3 of them to do so.
