What he lacks in framing he makes up for defense behind the plate and his arm making him still a positive defensive catcher oh and his OPS is 1.495. He's having a great year haters.

I lay half the pitching staff's problems on his inability to catch a game. They should trade him while his value is high.

Truth.

He is so self impressed with his arm that he doesn't hold the pitch long enough for the umpire to see it. He bounces around back there like a spastic schnitzer twin angering both pitchers and umps. Then he throws the ball around the IF with the very low chance that it will result in an out but a much higher chance it will result in an error, all because he wants to impress the world with his arm.

Throwing out base stealers is not the primary indication of a good defensive catcher. Runners steal on the pitcher in most situations.
