Russell is a perfect platoon partner for Schwarber (Bote from 2B->3B, Bryant 3B->LF). Except they had to go sign Descalso since Russell wasn't available for the first quarter of the season. And anybody who wants Bote sent back to AAA now that he signed a contract extension is a dope.

Yep. He's not really that great at hitting a baseball.
They can't / won't sell low in Russell. All they can do is hope he starts tearing it up in AAA to reclaim some of his trade value. Support him my ass....they'll deal him as soon as he's worth something.
