Just saw the highlights and the Angels had the closer starting? Glad Cubs won. Much needed victory.

I was also mowing, but still following the game. It was nice to see those first 6 runs put up without a HR. CarGo was awesome. That was a sick catch and he wasn't awful at the plate either.

Angels made this a bullpen day, so the offensive production has to be taken with a grain of salt. They need to be able to manufacture runs, so it was nice to see them score a run with a sac fly and a fielders choice ground ball. Also nice to see them go 4/8 with RISP. Also good to have Lester get a quality start after a few stinkers. Cargo made a great catch and hit too. Kinda intrigued by his signing. He is just 33, so it would not be too surprising if he still has gas in the tank. Maybe he will feel more at home back in the N.L.
