Nobody cares about the draft unless your team sucks balls dummy.

Meh. No one has any clue about pitching prospects.

Christopher Crawford

@Crawford_MILB

I like the Jensen pick for the Cubs. Might be a slight reach in value, but I think he's an arm that could be a fast-track type player that could help either as a starter or a high-leverage reliever. Underrated arm.

Zack Silverman
@ZackMatt4

Woah. Ryan Jensen is the first real surprise of the night, and honestly, I don't dislike it for a reach. That's a premium fastball in terms of both velocity and movement, and I called him a "sleeper to keep an eye on" in my personal notes. Very interesting pick

:lol: nobody knows anything about what these guys will be but I wouldn’t necessarily be encouraged by everyone calling it a reach. The only worse thing is if everyone said it was “a guy the White Sox really liked also”

I like the change in approach. This guy has a big league ready fastball. Get that secondary pitch to be more effective and you have a power reliever next year.

I think most rankings had this guy closer to 100 overall than top 30.

@MDGonzales Jensen listed at 6-0, 180 pounds and was ranked 109th by Baseball America but throws in high 90s. Cubs need power arms.

I like it, I've never been a fan of soft tossing pitchers.

In 2015, Baseball America had Paul Dejong as the 108th best draft prospect.

After the Top 10 or 20 draft prospects, it is a guessing game with rankings.

2nd round pick hit a HR immediately after being drafted. Cubs drafted him while he was up to bat in his game. Hit a HR right after it.

I think Keyser was always very high on him

This confirms that Keyser isn't one of the well respected scouts in the game, I guess. No one listens to him. :(
