Yup. Stop wasting those strikeouts in AAA. The Cubs bullpen has some serious issues in terms of "missing bats"..basically they don't miss any.

Edwards needs to get traded to a last place AL team before his trade value craters to Happian levels.

Don't forget, Strop was struggling in Baltimore when the Cubs picked him up. Edwards can be the same kind of find for an AL cellar dwelling team. But he can't be pitching meaningful innings for the Cubs at this point. Trade him, and give some of those innings to Alzolay.

You can't get a pile of shit for Edwards at this point.

the search is limited to the last two starts because the other two have produced an overall record of 1-2 and 5.68 ERA.

small, slightly built and with a history of arm injuries who isn't a top 100 prospect and only 4th ranked in a bad system...I thought Cub fans were past this kind of stuff

6'1" and 218 lbs. I guess most of this board is slightly built.

6'0' and 179 on mlbpipeline. That is small for a pitcher.

Maybe when they signed him as a teenager. Look at the video in the link provided. Guy is certainly not slightly built now.

I'll stay with the independent, third party info.

You want to see slightly built, Tim Collins is the smallest pitcher I've ever seen, probably the smallest Cub of all time.

I wanted to see where Theo's first rd draft pick pitcher from LSU was at this year....Alex Lange. He is in High A for the 2nd year in a row with a 10.00 ERA. Fire your fucking amateur pitching scouts already. That is brutal. Every one of these guys is terrible. Abbott and Miller have had nice seasons so far Hatch, Steele and Lange have all sucked.

Now the international scouting department seems to hit pretty often with pitchers.

He missed much of last season with an elbow. I doubt they are going to call him up and have him be a pen guy pitching every third day.

First time I heard someone say this name on the radio I thought it was someone doing a Die Sox White Fan Die Hard White Sax Tan version of Albert Almora.

Theo, Jed, and Jason McLeod are all joined at the hip. No amount of McLeod's failure in draft talent evaluation can get him fired.

No, he is not really all that thin. He looks more like 190-195 to me.
