I dont mean for the Cubs. I mean anywhere. Any team.

Is there any team out there that would be interested in Bully Hendry to be their GM?

Related question:
Why has he been hiding under Cashman all these years? Does he get paid that good?
Does he not wanna be a GM anymore?

It's really hard to look at Hendry as a good GM. I think he was pretty bad. Outside of 2016, that 2003 team was really good, but it had more to do with Lynch / MacPhail.

My memory of the Jim Hendry era....he gave out no-trade clauses like candy and LOVED to be stocked up on 2B.

Hendry was trying to build a winner one year at a time with no farm system. Everything was pieced together year after year. He did real well actually with only money from the trib to play with.

Id still like some thoughts on this.

Do u think Bully Hendry's style would work anywhere in the Big Leagues today?

Notice the difference between him and Theo's style.

Hendry would have Ian Kinsler, Starlin Castro, Gordon Beckham all on the active roster with no-trade clauses. Then at the deadline, he'd have gone out and traded for Eduardo Escobar to get yet another 2nd baseman.
