It was disturbing to hear Ross yesterday discuss the Quintana's progress with the injury. It sounded like he was hopeful that Q would only miss the first 30 games but he certainly did not seem definite. He said there was nerve damage that was going to require him to re learn some grips. That is a lot worse of details than had previously been revealed by the team. He also said Q was ahead of schedule , which seems to indicate the team thought this might have been a season ender.

Anyway, the nerve damage part worried me because that sounds like an outside chance of ending his career. I would hate to see that because I really like the guy

Terrible trady by Theo, Hahn fucked him. Quintana is a 5th starter and will get shellacked in the AL west.

The Cubs got him just as he lost his game to game consistency. He seemed much more streaky with the Cubs and had the kind of bad outings that he generally did not have with the Sox. He also had some outstanding, dominant starts for the Cubs.

I would not have minded the Sox bringing him back.

I read he stopped throwing a pitch when he went to cubs.. He was throwing it around 40% of the time with the Sox and around 3% with the Cubs.. I forgot which pitch, Splitter maybe.

Except my trail stop loss executed on $NOVN during a very brief mid morning dip at $0.92 and it ended up at about $1.25 on the day.

Average share cost was $0.55... I see some silly Robinhood types target this one to $3.or $4 but that doesn't seem realistic. I certainly hope not anyway.
