Hoff had a big day today. Nice to see that that position can still hit.

Wow, I did not know they were playing right now, I could have sworn this was a night game.

You missed DLee getting taken out of the game, Soriano hit in the mellon by a pitch, a retaliation shot at Pujols, Fuks got 2 RBI, and Hoff is 2 for 2 including that homer.

Pulled from the game in the first I think. Been flipping between this and the Bulls game, so if they explained it any further than what I saw, him flexing his left elbow in pain, I didn't hear it.

I think it was his shoulder, not 100% sure though. It was after his double in the first.

Overall, a pretty shitty weekend for Chicago baseball.

I just hope he has to sit a few games to give Micah a chance to show what he has to offer at 1st base. He can play that position much better than he plays the outfield. Plus, he can hit.....

I should hope. He can't do any worse at 1B than he does in RF.

He had 1 bad game in RF. I was surprised at how well he did in RF in a few games before that. He is NOT a good outfielder. He IS a decent first baseman though. He really should be the everyday first baseman. The only time I would not have him at 1B, is against a lefty, in which case, Lee would make more sense. Also, in games where the DH is used in A.L. ballparks during inter-league games, I would have Micah DH. If you tried Konerko, Lee or Thome in the outfield, what results would you expect? the guy is not really an outfielder.

I wish you were an MLB manager, Steve. You'd make Terry Bevington look like frickin Sparky Anderson. Matt Millen would have nothing on you as a GM either.
