This kid has not allowed an earned run in almost a month now. he shold be the new closer! Between Gregg's failures and Guzmans accomplishments, this change should take place.

marmol is the man who should be worrying about losing his job to guzman. he is walking guys left and right. gregg has been a bit better over the last 3 weeks, since the 4 run blowup back in mid-may. at LEAST gregg throws strikes.

Guzman has been one of the few pleasant surprises this season so far. Having someone doing his job well out of the bullpen, whether it be in a closers role, as a set-up man or in any other capacity, it's a welcome development. With Samardjia not contributing at the major league level at this point, someone else needed to step up. I'm happy Guzman was able to. Now they just need to get Gregg and Marmol as sharp and try to get Marshall used to working out of the pen again and also contributing, as they have not had a lefty get the job done yet this season and need that too. With all the injuries that Guzman battled for years, he has to be really enjoying this now.

I pikced him up on my roto team about a week ago. His stats have been awesome since May 8, he allowed the last earned run and has thrown only 2 walks since then, over 15 innings.

I am not in anyway feeling much better about Gregg. His last time out he changed it up a better, but he seemed uncomfortable to do so, Guzman is throwing the slider, change and fastball well and his last blown save was June 2, he didnt get a BS when he let up 4.
