I realize he isn't the solution, but he could be a cheap kick in the ass to the entitled veteran. He couldn't be any worse and won't cost much at all.

Everyone keeps bringing up all the no-trade clauses the Cubs players have, but why are they so certain to invoke those clauses? I know they hate to get shipped around and move their family, but you'd think some might rather play for a team that's going places.
