I think the concensus among Cub fans is that sometime either now or at end of the season there needs to be some roll of heads.

I was one that thought Hendry's body of work overall earned him this season keeping his job and changing GMs last November would have been bad timing after the ownership changed anyway but now I believe he needs to go.

The only major name I'd keep is Tim Wilken. The farm system is turning a corner and has been since he took over.

Otherwise everyone needs to go!

I'm not sure that there is anything that can help this bunch of sorry ass losers. Hendry and his Halloween candy no trade clauses have made housecleaning nearly impossible.
The farm system being highly touted means shit to me. I wanna see 'em perform and that's not going to happen anytime soon.
I hope it does. I want to see the kids as bad as anyone, but I don't see the Cub being able or willing to go in that direction.
I guess we'll see what happens in the off-season, because this season is done.

What other business would tolerate a high ranking executive or Manager continually telling everyone that he has no idea what he should do or why what he is doing isn't working? Can you imagine a corporate CEO whose stock is tanking on his quarterly earnings conference call saying "What do you want me to do?"
It has really gotten ridiculous with Lou basically trying to shift all of the blame to the players, even if it is the players fault. The way you keep your job when times are tough & things aren't going your way is to convince your superiors & your employees that you have a solid plan & that you know what you are doing & to stay positive. Lou exhibits none of these. If Tom fucking Ricketts ever comes out of hiding & starts to focus on the team rather than everything else, maybe he'll start the rebuilding process.

Seems a nice way to get shitcanned and still get paid if you ask me. You really think he's still interested at all in keeping this job? Team looks horrible from my living room. How he keeps his lunch down when he actually is at field level watching them bring the suck everyday is beyond me.

We need another thread saying that the Cubs suck and everyone should go. The other 2 weren't getting the job done.
