This herculean effort is one that can only derived from the greatness that is Quade.

Interesting. Mr. Anger Management had a little issue in the 6th. He couldn't deal after Soriano's fruity hop and drop.

I am in the pirates market so I must take advantage of any opportunity I get to see this team.

I went back to the Sox game. It's at least interesting. Bobby. Bobby. Bobby.

I love hearing Hawk in misery so I was watching a bit of that as well.

UMN brining up being in the Pirate's market made me wonder about where teams' markets are. Found this interesting.

Thats quite an interesting map there. It looks like the cleveland market is available, yet my provider chooses to go with the reds and pirates. My pirates feed is through FSN. Maybe I will get to see ol north after all.

I'm still irritated about when I was in college in Dubuque. It was supposedly in the "home market" for the Cubs, Sox, Brewers, Twins, Cardinals, and Royals so could never get those games. Not that I really cared about any team other than the Cubs, but it was pretty crazy.

I grew up in northern Indiana. When the Colts moved to Indy, my dad tried applied for season tickets. He got a letter back denying his request because we lived in "Bears Country."

The main reason I hated the Rich Harden trade (besides hating Rich Harden) was I thought Sean Gallagher would turn into a stud. Now he's pitching in the Last Chance Saloon otherwise known as the Pittsburgh Pirates bullpen. What a waste of a great arm.

Worry not, he will get a non roster invite to spring training next year with the cardinals and will win 15 games.

false, northern indiana (south bend) is actually colts country

colts games get priority on Sundays, and their local shows are geared toward the Colts

now northwest indiana, that is bears country

You do realize that things such as territory can change over a 25 or so year period, right?

The Arizona fall league rosters were just announced. The cubs will be sending Brett Jackson, Josh Vitters, Kyle Smit (lilly trade), chris carpenter and a few other guys I am not familiar with. On the same team though is Brandon Wood??? What the fuck are the angels trying to pull by putting him on there and taking away opportunities from Vitters and other young players. He has been up in some capacity for 3 years and is out of options. This league is not for guys like him.

Northwest Indiana is considered part of the Chicago metro area.

South Bend is NOT the Chicago-metro area. Take a look at a map.

Sadly things in NWI are changing. With the Colts having such sustained success and the Bears playing like crap the last few seasons, I have noticed much more Colts love around here. It is quite disgusting...

My whole point was that what V was referencing was his dad trying to get Colts season tickets 25 years ago. The NFL is not necessarily the quickest to react, so by that logic, it's easy to see why, back then, Northern Indiana was considered "Bears Country". Now, not so much.

More Bears than Cubs posts in a Cubs thread, not surprising.

What happened to Gorz? I had the game on the car radio and he was pitching just fine and then i get back in the car after a trip to the store and diamond is in already? Did he wear another line drive like earlier this year or did his arm blow up, or did he get tossed?
