Hard not to love that 77 team that in late June was 25 games over .500 and had an 8 game lead, only to finish exactly .500, twenty (20) games back.

Ever seen a guy who used to weigh 400 pounds, then he lost 100 and talks smack to the other guys who still weigh 400 pounds?

I have not.

However, currently witnessing a fanbase show their ass since April and probably continue to embarrass themselves for next 5-7 years before their team moves to Charlotte.

C'mon, let Walt have his fun ... he might not live long enough to see the Cubs win again ... an exhibition game I mean.

Well, technically that's potentially all of us.

Now, watch them have an 0-fer in Spring Training.

This team was really likable, unlike in years past.

This team was very cool. Hard, but not impossible, to dislike. 1984 was extremely cool too. The Daily Double!!

Never thought the starting pitching was sufficient on the 2015 squad to win a World Series. But after adding a couple starters this winter, they should be ready to make a legitimate run at it. they did great to get as far as they did this season. Great experience in the playoffs for all the young players.

They had it all in 2004. If that team is healthy most of the season they easily make the playoffs and probably win it all over Boston.
