No, Matt ... he's booed because he's a scummy cheater who hadn't the slightest problem with ruining some random schmuck's life to cover up (badly, I might add) his steroid use.

Ja Hey might be broken again. He is popping up to the infield again. Joe just can't help himself when it comes to the leadoff batters. That is DD's gig if he is playing and he is playing tonight.

He’s as big or probably a bigger scumbag than Russell.

According to ShitMike and QueerDolphin the Cubs only beat teams with losing records.

Hell yes. That was a huge win. Lester is a fucking warrior. The worse his stuff gets the better of a pitcher he becomes.

Yeah no doubt Lester is the man. They said tonight that this is the best start to a season in his career...that is hard to fathom at his age.

Nice win. Will see it later. They took 2/3 at their park, we took 2/3 at our park.

8-2 homestand. Bryant had what, 5 hr's in those 10 games?

Keep it rolling vs the Reds. Reds are no longer pushovers.

The Reds have a ridiculously low number of runs against.....which kind of makes sense once you remember that they hired former Cub and Brewer pitching coach guru Derek Johnson. He made filet out of chicken shit last year with the Crew. Idk what he did with the cubs since he was in the minors but the numbers do no lie in Cinci. Thank god that pain in the ass Hamilton is gone though.

If we had Billy Hamilton this year leading off, we're winning the pennant no questions asked. Not sure why they didnt go after him. I mean he's was so cheap to sign but I guess the cubs had no money last offseason  .

KC is doing a great job wasting away his talent. But maybe he's not a fit in the AL. He's batting mostly 9th or 8th in their order. If he was on a NL team, he'd be leading off like he should be and stealing bases.

Good series. 2up on the Crew and 3 1/2 up on the Cards now. With Baez picking up where he left off in 2018, Bryant back in form and crushing again and Contreras killing it too, they have 3 top candidates for the All Star game and if they keep it up, the MVP. Add to it Rizzo (hitting well again) and the only true weakness I see is the lack of a top leadoff hitter. Had they traded for Whit Merrifield as I suggested, rather than signing Descalso, they would be scary. I would still maintain a deal with K.C. where they send Russell, Schwarber and Montgomery for Merrifield would be smart.
