There was a story out today that got some good insight into the Descalso situation and Joe's thought process behind past and future decision making. He said Descalso is an important part of what they are doing and will be a key asset come September and that he needs more starts. He doesn't need shit other than to not be on the team. They have 2 guys in AAA that are killing it but hell no will they even consider promoting them.

Now if that is a look into the mind of Joe then I see why god awful Brach was in a tie game today. Right now he should be the last call out of the pen with his awful 6+ era.......but Joe has to pander to that veteran ass.

So either he is giving Jed and Theo the biggest fuck you and is selling it like an A-Lister or he really wants to die on a hill with these bums.
