Granted going 4-5 in a single game is gonna give the average and obp a nice bump but if Bryant finishes with 30 & 100 with a .290/390/920 slash line it’s gonna still somehow seem he’s underperformed.

His power is oddly up and down, and the splits support the perception he struggles with 2 outs and runners in scoring position, but overall he’s very consistent in all other split type scenarios.

sometimes he’s just a frustrating watch. At least for me, but at the end of the year the numbers are invariably very very good.

Robel has been doing this the entire damn season. About time they called him up. They have literally nothing to lose with the move. This is totally a Brewers Erik Kratz/Jesus Aguilar type thing but I will take it.

He is beyond awful. I was at a family party earlier, and the game was on so I got to see some of his wonderful work. How MLB can worry about pace-of-play while ignoring drastic problems like Joe West, C B bucknor, and Angel Hernandez is beyond me.

If I Was Made commissioner for a day, the first thing I would do would be to Institute a salary cap, and a salary floor. Then I would fire those three umpires.
