So glad to see Almora not only hitting better lately, but hitting with more authority. Yes, the wind aided the Grand Slam and not sure it gets out if the wind is blowing in, but he's been barrelling the ball up a lot more the past few weeks. Also glad Chatwood got the call tonight and certainly hoping he can finish this one and save the bullpen tonight.

Arrieta another guy like that. But kinda nice to watch a guy like Chatwood, who has great stuff and induce a lot of weak contact, when there is any contact at all. What a nice turnaround he is having this season. So glad they didn't trade him, as if one of the starters go down......hell, he might we'll be an improvement.

really like these cubs night games. i dont remember when they scheduled regular season night games from M-W. Too bad tomorrow is a day game , they should have just kept it night games M-Thursday.

Get-away day, ninny. Albeit only to Milwaukee. But still.

Programming note - the next four Cubs' games are all 1:20pm starts, and the first game in Houston on Monday is @ 1:10pm.

I'm not all that worried about the one blemish ... in a way, it gives me a feeling that this might not be a pulled-out-of-his-ass lucky quirk of a game because he wasn't infallible.
