Jorr, I will fully admit that there is a segment of Cubs fans that are not good baseball fans. They show up to the game and ask who is pitching or ask how the Cubs are doing this year. Then there are clowns like Murph and North. But to equate our rational excitement to us thinking PCA is Willie Mays is just plain wrong. We all recognize the Almoras and Pattersons were overhyped busts, and most of us are skeptical fans that do not drink the kool aid.

But he seems to understand how to adjust to what pitchers do, and he's hopefully going to end up at least as a .240/.290/.410 guy who hits 7th for the next seven or eight years before settling into a journeyman 4th OF for another four or five.

He's not Andruw Jones.

That would obviously be a major disappointment. He has been highly regarded by scouts. He will regress because not many guys could keep up this pace. He will have to be more selective at the plate. But he has all the tools to be a solid major league player. Whether he becomes a star, well, we will all be watching.
