You're not right about much. You contradict yourself constantly and seem like an angry individual with obsessive tendencies about a baseball team that you dont like. Kinda weird.

It wasn't a what if. He had a HR/FB rate that was extraordinary and I said it would correct itself (THE EXACT SAME WAY JOSE ABREU'S CORRECTED ITSELF KIND YOU) and then voila! it corrected. You tried saying I was going to be wrong because Alcantara went from mediocre to average power as a minor leaguer.

Then I was right. And you were wrong.

I dont even think he'd disagree

I wrote a lengthy post in the White Sox forum about the state of the Sox system in which I described 5 prospects who declined. Thats 5 more than I have ever seen a Cubs fan say are losing major steam. I made a post saying Andy Wilkins is worthless. I loathe John Danks. Stop making shit up.

You fucking touted Marcus Semien as a good prospect and Kris Bryant as a likely bust in the same week. That alone is proof enough. Its indefensible idiocy.

And you're flat out wrong about the Cub fan prospect posts. There's a thread here with plenty of posts (literally in the hundreds) about Cub prospects regressing (Baez, Almora, Soler, Vitters, Jackson)

I could post 6 of them right now and prove you wrong. Or do you want to just admit what we both know?

So you're just a liar now?

I never said you were wrong about anything. I said you had a faulty premise (true) and you were selective in your reasoning (true)

and yet, strangely enough the Cubs did worse without DeRosa. He fit well on that team.

Then why were you so convinced Alcantara's little power bump in July was for real?

I wasnt.

For the third time. You chose to use his minor league stats from last year instead of this year. That is selective reasoning.

So now you're claiming to just be stuck arguing semantics, when I pulled his full season of MiLB stats instead of this year's half season, when you ultimately agreed with the core (lol) of my argument?

Ok. Whatever you have to tell yourself.

If you are a star, wouldn't you just play your best position?

I once read an article in an old Baseball Digest about Jerry Lynch. It said he was "too good to play everyday."

I think the real question is, does America think that the Cubs will be contenders by 2016?

Newper said he may challenge the mark of 49 set by McGwire, and FF was clearly joking.

OK guys watch how both topics Alcantara's power and Abreu's 50 home run discussion are tied up in one neat little package.

Second half stats

Abreu 48 games 206 PA 4 HR
Alcantra 53 games 228 PA 8 HR

Alcantara using Steve Stone's words "FAR SUPERIOR"
