The rooftops have no affect. So why care?
If it has no affect then why are the Cubs doing what they are doing?

To make more money. As a business owner is likely to attempt.

If he puts that money back into fielding a better product, good, okay.

But I'm cool either way. It is his team. As long as the baseball side is going good, do whatever you like.

Talking about how the city of Chicago runs...JORR you are a lifer and you know that since "da Maypr" passed the city has never run as smoothly. So when they said it would take a week to replace the water main on Sheffiled and it took almost a month it is about as smooth as most city jobs go.

Yeah, but it cost 20 X's as much . When I started building and would see water main tap jobs, the city had a couple of "consultants" show up on the job. The consultants, were nice guys who got out of the car for about 15 seconds, then sat in the town car drinking coffee for the rest of the day. They would come out of the car to ask if I had a bathroom they can use.

If they knew that then shouldn't they have adjusted accordingly?

I mean, you are basically saying the Cubs intended for this to happen.
