for me as a Cubs fan, Spring Training is only useful to evaluate if bad habits have changed. I'm not terribly caught up in success or wins and losses. In 1984 I think the Cubs did terrible in spring training. They're not going to contend this year, so I'm not sure what the uproar is. Wait until 2016, folks.

Soler, Bryant, Russell, Olt, Castillo...all doing well this spring.

Hopefully, some team sees value in Castillo and can give the Cubs a solid prospect from somewhere in the low minors. I don't expect a near majors player.

You tell me. Kris Bryant is hitting .500 with 4 HR and a double. Soler is hitting .417 with 2 HR. Russell is hitting .417 with a couple doubles. Olt is hitting .333 with 2 HR and a thousand walks.

I take my average with a large side of power, thank you very much.

But maybe it is unfair for me to compare other teams' lowly offenses against the waking giant. I'll try to be more sensitive to the southsiders in the future.
