I'll just keep on correctly predicting the series. You call it mental midgetery, I call it prognostication. I've correctly called every Cubs playoff series since 03. Including the wins. The exception was the Cards series last year.

And Urias has an effective curve, slider and change to go along with his fastball. I'm sure you can predict what pitches Rizzo will see (hint-not fastballs) His ability to throw junk for strikes will determine how well he does. Anyone thinking Lackey holds the Dodgers down should have their head examined. And anyone who watched game 1 saw Lester get hit hard, just at people. Sorry folks. Move along, nothing to see here.

I have no use for Jorge to get another start. Put Contreras or Almora in.

Exactly. Serrano almost steamrolled Fowler last night and struck out just like Heyward would. No need for Jorge.

I'd play Heyward. He had a home run off of Urias...maybe that is just a little piece of confidence needed.

  Serrano is right on...I also can't stand his fashion statement of pulling his back pocket out all the way. It might be cute if you're producing but he looks like he doesn't give a fuck. And he's as brittle as a china doll.

Bernstein broke the story that the Cubs know how to fix Heyward. They just didn't have the time to do it this year.

I guess the Cubs were happy to let him continue since he was doing so well this year they didn't want to mess it up.

If you're the team trainer, what kind of drugs would you be handing out to fix this problem?

I'm thinking Adderall with just a tiny sprinkling of Xanax to take the edge off.

Cubs look defeated mentally. Started after the Gonzalez HR in game 2. Bunch of mental midgets.

If Cubs do not score in the top of the 1st tonight, the series is over. They will not score another run unless its a garbage time Montero swing.

Forgot all about that one.

Maybe the Heyward instructions are underneath the Kerry Wood personal services contract.

I vividly remember when DB said that after the signing (that they saw something that would unleash his power and turn him into a 30-40 HR guy). It will be interesting to see whether Heyward will blame his year on those misguided fixes (if they actually happened) and say he's going back to his old ways for 2017.

Urias will be this year's Miguel Cabrera or Will Clark or Tony Gwynn.

They aren't testing for any recreational drugs on October 19th. I'm not in the #legalizeit crowd, but goddamnit these Cubbies need to bake for about 3 or 4 hours before tonight's game.

With all the lefty starters the Dodgers have,Heyward took Matt Szczur's roster spot for what reason exactly?

.385 .414 .508 .922

Hey nice stats! The forgotten Mat Murton vs. LHP at Iowa in 2016.

Murton & Szczur would have looked nice on this series playoff roster for the Cubs.

Tonight is make or break, if they lose then the series is over. If they win, I believe they will its 2-2 with Lester going tomorrow. I'm not in panic mode, I'm just disappointed in Addy and Rizzo and Zobrist.

Don't forget Arrieta's bitchass. That' yet another shitty playoff start.

A total piss poor effort. He coudn't match old ass Rich Hill? Go toe to toe with his basket of garbage pitches. Hopefully he's traded this offseason.
