Even the idea of putting him back at part time catcher is over because of the knee issue.

When you hit 50 HRs you can put up with his D in LF. Heyward is moving to CF next year. Baez is going to be playing 3rd on the reg. You move Bryant to RF and Soler and Schwarber are your natural platoon in left.

He's going to transition to 2B.

he was a sufficiently good LF before the injury. As long as he comes back well, I cut bait with Soler first.

I almost went with 60, but I figured that would be viewed as over the top

He was a butcher before he destroyed his knee, I'd move Zobrist to left and Baez to 2nd n keep Kris @ 3rd...trade Schwarber after he showcases that knee as healthy for pitching...he'd be a great first base-DH in the AL.

I totally agree, IMU.

Also agree with that statement. If they have to make a choice between those two, I would trade Soler. But they will just release LaStella or Coghlan 1st and move from there.

I'm fine with Schwarber > Soler if for no other reason you're not entirely sure about one and fairly sure about the other.

if Soler has a playoff series or two like last year, he's going to bring value. He's more valuable as a trade commodity than Kyle as he's actually played this year. Kyle's not going to return the value they think he's worth.

Doesn't matter if he doesn't have a position. The guy is a beast at the plate and a future MVP.

Trust me. I'm a lot better at judging talent than all of you.
