cub/morel fans upset at edmonds? are they upset at cliff floyd? cliff has said some things about morel that sting more than what edmonds said.

my opinion is that ross handled morel correctly. morel goes 2 weeks trying to jerk everything 512 feet and does nothing to help the club in the process, he's going to sit for 2-3 games. lesson learned, he wants to play. comes back, goes up the middle/right field for a few games, gets his timing back, smacks a few HRs, gets right back into bad habits. rinse, repeat.

maybe counsell is hoping that morel has a meeting in the mirror with himself. no interpreter needed. i thought morel would be better all around this year. wrong. wrong. he's still at age 18 mentally, believes he'll hit 83 HRs a season.
