Frank posts more in the Cub section than the Sox section.

The DH has obviously been running a lot of Spring Training stories. As they go through the list of Sox prospects, I think you have a lot to look forward to down the road. I can't wait to see how those guys develop. We've had the Cubs and Hawks get built properly from the ground up, and it sure has been fun. Maybe the Bears will get there. The Sox are next up, which just leaves the Bulls to have that come to Jesus moment.

I don't think there's a proper way to build a team though, especially in the free agency era. If the Cubs won in 1998 or 2003 would you downgrade those championships because they didn't win through the draft?

It's less about winning through the draft than it is seeing the players grow and develop before my eyes. We saw that dynamic with the key players from the Bulls run, the Blackhawks, and the Cubs. In the Blackhawks case, I like Hossa plenty, but got more enjoyment from the development of Keith, Seabrook, Kane, and Toews.

Since Kerry Wood is my favorite Cubs player, I would have been just fine in 1998 and 2003.

This may very well happen. I see 92 wins and a repeat WS trip where they lose in 6.

This may be true but Jay is an underrated player kind of like Fowler was when he came to the Cubs. Jay is really good if he plays enough and that may be the problem.

You all realize that making these predictions is pointless, right?

It is a fun thing to do at this point though. Season will play out and we can see who was wrong.

Be nice to Scooter. He is trying to use these predictions to make up for his 2016 Dead Pool not working out the way he wanted.

I had a rectal exam and I'm thoroughly convinced no one actually has anal sex. I mean, my ass was doing everything it possibly could to keep that doctor's finger out of there. Every fucking signal was being fired to my brain telling me to run and get the fuck out of there. Of course, I just might be a unique case.

Never went down that route. I think its against the rules. Plus I really have a thing about having shit on my dick. Kind of related but this guy told me he did a chick while she was on her period. He said the best way to imagine it was to stick your finger in a pizza puff. I've never eaten a pizza puff to this day.

The closer for the Cubs on August 1st will not be Wade Davis

Alex Colome, Dellin Betances, or CJ Edwards

Interesting. You expecting a bad year for Davis or injury?

I predict CJ in the future but not for 2017. Yankees could definitely move Betances in July though. That seems very testy.

As much as the Cubs front office professes to love Schwarber as a player and individual, putting a Quintana deal together starting with Schwarber and adding pieces makes a bunch of sense for both teams.

Schwarbs is almost a lock for 35 dingers playing on the south side even if they protect him against tough lefties.
