these games are still spring training to me. it's like if the NFL HOF game counted, then we had the 3 weeks of preseason. MLB just keeps finding ways to bury itself.

he did the same last year. instead of turner, it was wisdom. my take is that, i kinda see what he sees...busch isn't the greatest clean-up hitter...yet, he bats him clean-up. ok.

I've seen on reddit cubs fans saying PCA and Matt Shaw will lead them to the gloryland. this is the stupidest shit I've ever heard. These 2 guys could end up being 4A guys. The only place 4A players are going to lead you to is a world of disappointment.

The Japan series was ridiculous. To hold a series weeks before spring training concluded meant pitchers were not stretched out enough to go more than a few innings. Japan already loves Baseball, so it was never going to accomplish the goal of growing the game in Japan. It interrupted spring training and threw guys off their schedules and Mookie Betts is still dealing with an illness he contracted from the trip. Stupid idea. If they wanted a series there, hold it just before the All Star break and allow the players from the participating teams to skip the All Star game so they can rest and get over the jet lag.
