I certainly did not fall into that category. I said in spring training 2009 Hendry put together a lousy roster. May I also point out, I was also one of the few who said they would have trouble with the Dodgers in 2008.
I have been wanting Hendry fired since 2006.

The only teams in the 1990s that had more wins than the Sox were the Braves and Yankees. I would consider that to be "pretty good"

It didn't equate to any Championships, but it meant that the Sox were always in the mix for a playoff spot.

If a Cubs fan said that they had good years in 07 and 08 you would be all over them for supporting a team full of losers in the playoffs. How many championships did Wilson Alvarez bring. I am not saying that you shouldnt enjoy the 90s but at least be consistant.

And in the early 00s, the Cubs didn't have a chance in hell to make the playoffs. They didn't this year either. The Cubs had a great 2008, but a miserable October.

Outside of a couple years in the late 90s, the Sox were always in the mix for a playoff spot. And for the most part they have always been in the mix for the AL Central crown in the 2000s. Lets not forget that if either Mags or Thomas stay healthy in 2004, the Sox make the playoffs.

I only brought them up as an example of hypotheticals which you got into when you started on the if only Frank and Magglio stayed healthy in 04. It is impossible to argue against something that didn't happen. Whaf if Frank and Magglio stayed healthy and both went into terrible slumps. It's a pointless discussion.
