I don't follow the Hot Stove shit. I heard that Mott and Descalso were shipped, but I had no idea the Cubs got Jason. Tell you the truth....I'm shocked! The Cards must know something I don't. I would think they would have liked to see him pitch the second year after TJS!

You guys may have a good one there. Seems like a pure-D roll of the dice for both teams.

BTW...who got Descalso?

The bullpen wasn't any problem to begin with; this either doesn't hurt anything not already in shambles, or it makes something good potentially great ... never mind that the bullpen excelled in light of being worked to death which one reasonably hopes will not be the case this year.

Guy will be 33 in Feb who Apologist said depended on velocity to suceed. Add he's a TJS guy. I think it's dumb. Save the 4.5M to chip in when trying to flip shithead.

He never lost the velocity. He was still flinging it last season. He just had trouble spotting it.

We have Bosio.

edit: According to charts, he lost maybe 1-2 mph off his 4 seamer, and negligible differences in his other pitches. I'm not worried.
WHAT other pitches?

They like his grit apparently. Crazy

Thanks. DD is a damn good man in the clutch, but he's not the best fielder. In 2011 he had more game winning hits in one month than Pujols had all season.
