I had to remember you were a Cubs fan or I thought you were talking about 2016.

We don't have to invent rain delay speeches by guys hitting .100 and the dominant performance of the backup catcher for 2005 to be special.

Whether he's playing Baseball or competing on Dancing With The Stars, David Ross is an easy guy to root for. I'm glad he's retired because Contreras has a great arm too and hits better and deserves to start most days. But it was a nice final season that Ross had, culminated by a HR in his final at bat in game 7 of the World Series that ended in a Cubs World Series title. Nice way to finish.
