ZZ's call of the first inning hit by Rizzo was like a 9 on the excitement scale. First hit of the game and he is giving me a 9. Not sure how many times you can go to 11 in a nine inning game.

Almora took a step back this year in developing more game power. If he isn’t going to develop his power, he needs to improve on other areas of his game.

He doesn’t have to be Vince Coleman, but he should become a student of the running game. 20 well timed steals would be nice. Tonight he led off the 5th with a single, that’s a nice time for a steal against a very tough starter. He was a statue at first.

Does Almora have one bunt hit this year? He should spend the winter with Brett Butler and learn how to lay a few down.
