It's what happens when a guy with no defensive instincts is given a glove and shoehorned into third.

 oh for fucks sake...

Quietly, I grew up as something of a Cardinals and Royals fan. I had little power and loved pitching and speed.

man the bullpen really stunk. should have won this game. not sure what Bryant was thinking. Wasn't it bases loaded and he could have forced at least the guy at home?

Anyway, get them tomorrow.

Cards lost in extra today. Nats been playing well.

I froze the replay and the runner wasn't that far off of 3rd when Bryant caught the ball. Granted he'd have to right himself before throwing home. That's basic baseball...get the winning run out at home first. Also Bryant was playing in, in front of the baseline for a shorter throw.

It's troubling Joe doesn't analyse anything after the game, just I stand by my players. Behind close doors he has to have told Bryant in Joe lingo "dude you fucked up". Then there'd at least be learning from a mistake. Even the Brewers manager said when Bryant went to touch third the game was over.

Picking up where we left off, a four pitch walk.

Tough to watch. Brewers have guys on the bases every inning, while the Cubs are one two three.

All they need to do is win one game this series. But looks like they’re getting swept by the way the bats are back in a funk.

2 straight games where Wilson can't catch the fucking ball. Close game, and Joe brings fucking Maples in. The hitting is embarrassing. Once again being shut down by average to below average pitching. Their is no way you could have confidence in this team in the playoffs. They could easily get shut out 3 or 4 games in a row. It's really unbelievable how inconsistent they have been.

I was at the game yesterday and though it ended in an unfortunate way, it was one hell of a game. Intense atmosphere, almost really like a playoff game. Tonight......shitty game. Errors, poor pitching, little hitting by the Cubs. I don't know about anyone else, but I have seen about enough of Allison Russell. I look forward to him being traded this winter. Not a terrible player, but one that they can definitely do without.

Yep. Brewers' fans could not ask for a better guy on the mound for the Cubs.

Is there an awareness feature on these MLB licensed video games?

If so, I'd have to assume Schwarber's awareness is like a 15 out of 100.

Wasn't the Brewers catcher blocking the plate? I thought they had to give a lane to slide?

I think Rizzo was actually safe. Although I have no problem with the call. It was a terrible send.
